OBJECTIVES

• To produce quality and noteworthy publication materials pertaining to the nation philosophy, policies and vision in order to achieve the objectives of the department and government;

• To provide expertise services on strategic writings for government campaigns and propaganda.

• To upgrade the department’s staff professionalism level through information materials.

FUNCTIONS

The functions of the National Policy Publication Division are to:

• provide official statements in the form of printed materials pertaining to comments, views and opinions on current issues regarding national and government policies;

• manage the preparation of government official information materials in the form of audio visual such as CD, VCD, DVD, video tapes, audio tape and Internet (through website) in support of interpersonal communication activity;

• prepare and provide government official information through media prints, audio visual and internet for local and international requirements;

• collect, write, edit and manage the printing of government official materials and documents pertaining to the nation’s philosophy, policies and vision;

• collect, write, edit and manage the printing of information materials (speech and reference materials) for the use of the department’s staff;

• prepare storyboard (text and caption) for visual communication activities (such as exhibition, poster, multimedia and billboard);

• publish publication materials for government official events;

• disseminate publication materials concerning nation’s important events and unforeseen events which are connected to safety, economy and social;

• provide consultancy service in writing government official materials; and

• provide translation service for the department.
