OBJECTIVES

• To produce quality and noteworthy publication materials pertaining to the nation's philosophy, policies and vision in order to achieve the objectives of the Department and government;

• To provide expertise and quality services on strategic contents for government campaigns and propaganda.

• To upgrade the Department’s professionalism and knowledge level through high quality  information materials and contents.

FUNCTIONS

The functions of the National Policy Publication Division are to:

• provide official statements in the form of printed materials pertaining to comments, views and opinions on current issues regarding national and government policies;

• manage the preparation of government's official information materials in the form of audiovisuals such as CD, VCD, DVD, video tapes, audio tapes and Internet (through website) in support of interpersonal communications activity;

• prepare and provide government's official information through media print materials, audio visuals and internet for local and international requirements;

• collate, write, edit and manage the printing of government's official materials and documents pertaining to the nation’s philosophy, policies and vision;

• collates, write, edit and manage the printing of information materials (speeches and reference materials) for the use of the Department’s staff;

• prepare storyboards (texts and captions) for visual communication activities (such as exhibitions, posters, multimedia and billboards);

• publish publication materials for government official events;

• disseminate publication materials concerning the nation’s important events and unforeseen events which are related to safety, economy and social;

• provide consultancy services in writing and preparing government official materials; and

• provide translation services for the Department.
