OBJECTIVES

• To disseminate of comprehensive, accurate, integrated and prompt feedback pertaining to the current issues that can agitate the interest of the people and the nation.

• To support the efforts towards maintaining, enhancing and uplifting the people’s confidence and support concerning the government policies and programmes through psychological approach.

• To upgrade and enhance the unity, patriotism spirit and love the nation sentiment among the multi-racial community.

FUNCTIONS

The functions of the Issues Management And Psychological Operations Divison are to ;

• Provide strategic plan for the early warning system to the government.

• Monitoring current issues which can jeopardize the authority of the government and national security.

• Provide analytical and comprehensive feedback report on current issues polemic and proposals of suitable and effective intervention programmes.

• Collaborate with all government agencies, private firms and non-governmental organisations (NGO) in planning and implementing psychological enhancement programmes towards uplifting the spirit of unity and the sentiment of love the nation.
