OBJECTIVES

• To disseminate  comprehensive, accurate, integrated and prompt feedback pertaining to the current issues that can arouse the interest of the people and the nation.

• To support the efforts towards maintaining, enhancing and uplifting the people’s confidence and support concerning the government's policies and programmes through psychological approach.

• To upgrade and enhance the unity, patriotism spirit and love the nation sentiments among the multi-racial community.

FUNCTIONS

The functions of the Issues Management And Psychological Operations Divison are to ;

• Provide strategic plans for the early warning  or caustioning system to the government.

• Monitoring current issues which can jeopardize the authority of the government and national security.

• Provide analytical and comprehensive feedback report on current  polemic issues and proposals on suitable and effective intervention programmes.

• Collaborate with all government agencies, private firms and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in planning and implementing psychological enhancement programmes towards uplifting the spirit of unity and the sentiment of love towards the nation.
