In this era of borderless world, ICT technology and its ability to facilitate and expedite the process has led JAPEM to create this website as an encouragement for the people to use ICT technology.

This website is one of the important sources of information and it involves relationship with each other domestically or globally in line with the current development of information technology beyond the boundaries. JAPEM has used the website as a new module for disseminating information on the government policies and messages to the public.

Through this website, JAPEM has created the official portal called 1KLIK which is a gateway of information, including the government and its agencies and local information. By using the portal the public can get immediately information and fully utilised them.

JAPEM main purpose of creating this website is to provide information and facts about the department and the services rendered. JAPEM has also provided several applications that can provide online services to help customers such as the daily digest system (E-Press) and Notes to the Editor (E-Press).

In addition, 1Klik Portal also provides the opportunity for visitors to obtain various information pertaining local and international issues. Through this portal, visitors can get useful information including segments of the local and foreign political, social, economic and current issues, local databases and many more.

In line with its target as a ‘Gateway’ of Information’ and it is hope that the information displayed will be able to give a precise understanding to the public.

The existence of this web site and portal will enable the public to express view, opinion, and feedback and make any query related to the Department and portal. All views and feedback are highly appreciated where indirectly can be made as a guideline to further improve the department services delivery system.
