PUTRAJAYA, Feb 18 (Bernama) — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil will appear in the first episode of ‘Ini Kopi Kita: Sembang Anak Malaysia’, a talk show produced by the Department of Information (JaPen), to be broadcast at 10.30 am tomorrow, on JaPen’s official social media site.
JaPen, in a statement today, said actress-cum-singer & entrepreneur Nur Fazura Shariffudin will be a panel member for the inaugural episode of the talk show, which will be on the topic ‘Fear of Missing Out’ (FOMO).
“FOMO is the topic that is highlighted. It touches on social anxiety due to the impact of digitalisation among the people, especially the young generation, & explores the panel’s experience to manage the fear of missing out on something new,” according to the statement.
According to JaPen, the talk show, with a relaxed concept targets the involvement of the younger generation, especially students of higher education institutions.
“Ini Kopi Kita: Sembang Anak Malaysia” will also discuss topics relating to the policies & initiatives by the MADANI government, in addition to fostering patriotic spirit, harmony & national integration,” read the statement.
JaPen said the six-episode talk programme, each for between 30 & 45 minutes, is divided into three main segments namely “Tentang Kita” (About Us), “Korang Tanya” (You Ask) & “Richiamo Slot”.
The programme involves a collaboration between JaPen the Department of Higher Education & Richiamo Coffee Sdn Bhd
JaPen, which was established on Oct 20, 1945, is a department under the Ministry of Communications whose role is to carry out various activities at the grassroots level towards forming an informed community.
